Shampoo in a bottle is mostly… water
Not everyone knows this, but 95-98% of liquid shampoo is just water. The rest is detergents, fragrances, active ingredients – and sometimes a bit of silicone shine. Water is cheap, easy to transport, but… it takes up space. And then it ends up in your shower along with another plastic bottle. Shampoo bars don’t have that water. It’s a concentrated formula, where every grain of the ingredients has to make sense. And work.
