FAQ
Cubes
Why is it worth using care products in cubes?
Our cubes are good for you and the environment. Dermatologically tested formulas with a minimum of ingredients take optimal care of the skin (including sensitive skin) and hair, guaranteeing a minimal risk of allergies. The cubes also help to significantly reduce the amount of plastic used - imagine that each of us gives up many plastic cosmetics in a plastic bottle forever. The production of cubes means less water consumption (they are concentrated) and less fuel in transport (because they are smaller and easier to pack). So the cubes are good for you and the entire Planet. And they are very pleasant to use, and the skin and hair are clean, fresh and beautiful after them.
Do the cubes wear out quickly?
Cubes are at least twice as efficient as the same amount of liquid product. However, they need to be used and stored skillfully. To wash your hair - just wet it, wet the cube and then pass it over the entire length of your hair two or three times. During massaging, a rich foam will be created. This is absolutely enough! The same with washing your body. Balms and conditioners change consistency to a slightly liquid (lotion) during massaging and spread beautifully. And most importantly. After use - put the cube away in a dry place. The product dissolves on contact with water - if you leave it in the shower or in a soap dish full of water - it will use up much faster! (see: information on how to use and how to store).
Do the cubes cause allergic reactions?
Our CUBES have formulas developed in cooperation with dermatologists. In accordance with the recommendations of the best specialists (and the latest trends in ecology promoting minimalism), we use a minimum amount of ingredients and only those that have been most thoroughly tested. However, it is always worth doing a test on your own skin. First, simply wash your hands, check if there is any adverse reaction. Especially if you have very reactive skin.
Are SFG products tested on animals?
No. We do not compromise on this topic either. We have a cruelty free policy, we do not test on animals, we do not use ingredients tested on animals or substances of animal origin. We do, however, happily test on ourselves and our friends.
Shampoos
Do shampoos contain SLS?
Our shampoos do not contain the SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) ingredient, but more delicate cleansing substances such as SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate), which foam perfectly and have a lower irritation potential than classic SLS, and other cleansing substances such as SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Istenhionate). In hypoallergenic and children's shampoo there are the fewest cleansing ingredients.
Do shampoos sting your eyes?
The shampoo bar was developed for washing hair, but it can also be used to wash the body and face. If the product gets into the eyes, it may sting slightly. You should then quickly rinse your eyes with cool, clean water. However, we do not recommend washing the face and body with our shampoos for people with extremely sensitive skin.
Can shampoo bars affect hair color?
No. All our shampoos are very gentle and their ingredients are selected so as not to wash out the dye. However, we also have a special bar for colored hair, which gently cleanses the skin and hair, beautifully seals the hair cuticles and adds shine.
Can shampoo bars make hair more oily?
No. Quite the opposite. It may turn out that instead of washing your hair every day, you will wash your hair twice a week. At the very beginning, it is worth applying the shampoo carefully - one stroke of the bar on damp hair is enough. The bar is more concentrated than liquid shampoo, if you use too much of the product, your hair may be weighed down. It is worth giving yourself a few days to adapt and get used to the new quality of washing your hair.
Can I use the same shampoo for hair and body?
Yes, of course, we especially recommend trying it out while traveling. Saving money, space in your luggage and a good gesture for the whole Planet. And that sexy feeling when you move the cube over your body ;-) Remember, after use, always put the CUBE in a dry place.

Can I return the cube?
If the cube does not suit you for some reason, you can of course return it. But think about it - maybe it is not worth putting energy into it and give the cube to a friend or wash your hands with it? You will save your time and the courier's time, and most importantly also the carbon footprint.
Why do we want to avoid returning our products? It's simple: because of the impact of return shipping on the environment. Over 2.5 billion kg of waste is created annually due to return shipping (source: https://www.bbcearth.com/news/your-brand-new-returns-end-up-in-landfill)
